Redaction & conflicts · In-house

Two jobs you cannot outsource, done in-house.

Redaction and conflicts both require reading exactly the material a firm should never upload. Doing them offline is the only version that makes sense.

Redaction and conflicts, in one place

Both depend on reading the whole record, which is why they belong here.

Candidates for redaction

Personal data, privileged passages and protected material identified across a production, with the page and the reason.

Burned in, not layered over

Redactions applied to the exported file rather than drawn on top of text that survives underneath — the mistake that produces the headlines.

Parties extracted for conflicts

Every entity and individual pulled from incoming documents into the conflicts corpus automatically, rather than depending on intake typing them in.

Checked against the firm's history

New parties run against every matter the firm holds, including the adverse parties buried in exhibits.

What stays true on every matter

These do not change by practice area, firm size, or the question asked.

Nothing leaves the firmNo cloud, no API call, no telemetry. The matter is read on hardware the firm owns.
Owned, not subscribedA one-time purchase. No per-seat monthly fee and no usage meter.
Citations verified on-machineAuthority is checked against a local corpus, not recalled from a model’s memory.
The entire matterFull workup across the whole file — not a chat window over one document.
Runs on your workstationA current RTX-class GPU. Designed to run with no internet connection at all.

Run it against a conflicts check you have already cleared.

The useful question is whether it surfaces a relationship that the intake form did not capture.

Questions firms ask

The answers below are specific to this page’s subject.

Is the redaction final?

The candidates are proposals and an attorney confirms them. Applying redaction automatically without review is not something we would build.

Does redacted text really disappear?

Yes — it is removed from the exported document, not covered with a rectangle over live text.

How far back does the conflicts check reach?

Across every matter on the machine, including parties that only appear inside documents rather than on an intake form.

What about sealed matters?

Sealed matters are excluded from firm-wide scans, and the count of what was excluded is shown rather than hidden.

See it run on a real matter.

A briefing walks the whole path — intake, workup, the Adjudicator's pass, and the work product that comes out the other side.
